RTE Nationwide Programme (Video)

Since 1997 RTE's Nationwide Programme has provided excellent television coverage of TidyTowns' participants with literally hundreds of areas covered. Many of these programmes are now available on-line. TidyTowns and Tangerines (Video)

Things get out of hand in Crap Rap as the TidyTowns Committee of Staneen, 'Runner Up of TidyTowns 2006', lay down the law in advance of their TidyTowns gala dinner night. This Crap Rap special by Brown Bag Films aired on RTE2 on 24th December 2007 and was created and directed by Nicky Phelan.

Please note that the City Neighbourhoods competition referred to by Ann was subsequently amalgamated into TidyTowns proper after a very successful pilot period.

TidyIslands on Tubridy (Audio)

National adjudicator Billy Flynn was interviewed on the Tubridy radio show on 17 July 2007 by guest presenter Anton Savage. The topic was his circumnavigation of Ireland to survey all of Ireland's inhabited islands, a once-off TidyTowns project with Comhdhail Oileain na hEireann and the Department of Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs.

National St Patrick's Day Festival - TidyTowns (Video)

To mark the 50th anniversary of TidyTowns and to honour the contribution of TidyTowns volunteers to their local St Patrick Day parades for over half a century, a number of groups from Ballymun, Donegal Town, Ennis, Tralee and Westport got together to enter the national festival in Dublin on 17th March 2008.
