Macra na Feirme’s Know Your Neighbour Weekend is taking place across the country on Saturday, July 14th and Sunday, July 15th.
Over the last seven years, this initiaive has been bringing people together to socialise and to have fun in a relaxing informal environment.
The 'Know Your Neighbour Weekend' slogan is "Don't Walk by, say hi".
This weekend is the ideal opportunity for communities across the country to reconnect and share something new. The event offers a chance to get to know people living nearby, to renew acquaintances or to make new friends as well.
Macra na Feirme are encouraging individiuals and groups in communities to hold a 'Know Your Neighbour' event such as a coffee morning, a BBQ, a theme party, a sport day/evening, or a field day.
