26.06.12 - People of the Year Awards - Commmunity Group of the Year
The closing date to nominate deserving individuals or community groups for the 'People of the Year Awards 2012' is fast approaching!
Since 1975, this community Awards event has been paying tribute to individuals and groups who have made a real and valuable contributiuon to our society.
It involves people who have enhanced the quality of life in Ireland, increased civic pride, or through acts of bravery have touched the lives of the community.
Individuals and groups are nominated by members of the public and classified in these five different categories:
- Community Group of the Year
- The International Person of the Year
- The Young Person of the Year
- Sports Person of the Year
- People of the Year Awards
The closing date for nominations is June 29th, 2012. The Awards, organized by Rehab, will be broadcast live on RTE One television on Saturday, September 15th.
