25.06.12 - EnviroCom Awards 2012 - Deadline this Friday
The Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Chamber is one of the main organisers behind the EnviroCom Awards 2012, which recognises the environmental achievements of businesses and non-profit making organisations in Dun Laoghaire Rathdown.
A total of ten awards are on offer across five categories including:
- Waste / Water
- Energy
- Engaging Communities in Environmental Projects
- Environmental Performance
- Special Merit
Past winners range from small start-up firms to some of the country’s most significant multi-national corporations.
Two of the 2010 EnviroCom winners went on to win the national Green Awards.
The County extends from the Merrion Gates to Dalkey, up to Bray, over the Dublin Mountains to Rathfarnham and down through UCD (it includes Cherrywood, Sandyford, Dundrum, Dun Laoghaire, Blackrock and Churchtown).
The closing date for entries is this Friday, June 29th 2012.
The winners will be announced at the EnviroCom Awards 2012 Dinner on Thursday, 18th October 2012 in the Stillorgan Park Hotel.
