28.07.11 - National Heritage Week: Photo Competition
To celebrate National Heritage Week 2011, the Heritage Council is running a National Heritage Week Photo Competition.
To enter, just submit an image or images that you think captures a message or aspect about our heritage and provide a brief caption with your photo in the description.
National Heritage Week is all about Your History, Your Culture and Your Nature and so in keeping with this message photos can be of our natural, cultural or built heritage.
Most of all, the Heritage Council are looking for engaging images of our diverse and rich heritage where photo composition has been considered.

Age Groups & Prizes
Adults 21+
First prize: €500 Irish landmark Trust Weekend Stay Voucher2 runner up prizes: €55 Family Heritage Card
Youth 13-20 years

Junior 7-12
First prize: €75 One4All gift voucher2 runner up prizes: €30 Easons online gift certificate
Please note: Children under 13 should ask their parent or guardian to join Pixie and enter the competition on their behalf
The competition opening date is 20th August and the closing date is 13th September. The winning images in each category will be decided by a panel of heritage experts!
