26.01.10 - Sustainable Energy Seminar 12th February
Conor Lenihan, Minister of State at the Department of Commmunications, Energy and Natural Resources will deliver the opening address at a forthcoming one day seminar entitled: 'Sustainable Energy Communities: Challenge, Response and Experience'.
This event, which is free of charge, is taking place on Friday, February 12th and is being organised in association with Sustainable Energy Ireland (SEI).
The seminar will focus on sustainable energy at a community-wide level and will address district heating and renewable energy projects. There will be a range of speakers from Ireland and the UK, representing both the public and private sectors.
There will be three sessions throughout this day long event, which will focus on the challenges facing us, our responses so far and the way forward for the future. This promises to be an interesting and rewarding seminar with ample opportunities for interaction and networking.
