Many TidyTowns volunteers around the country have a keen interest in gardening and horticulture.
If you're travelling through Carlow in early August, why not visit the Carlow Floral Festival Trail?
It's taking place between Saturday 1st August and Sunday 9th August, featuring 16 different gardening attractions, including great old gardens, (lovingly restored) and smaller gardens (maturing beautifully with time).
The Floral Trail is an easy-to-follow tour, thanks to the identifiable road signs. The festival will also host a wide range of events including gardening and floral workshops, arts & crafts demonstrations and street entertainment.
